Mr. Peter Fischer, energy commissioner from the German Foreign Office is visiting Finland and Aalto University, and gives a lecture German energy transition, Energiewende.
The transition began in 2010, with an aim to change the German energy supply to be low-carbon and environmentally sound. While its targets are ambitious, significant progress in the abatement of greenhouse gas emissions has already been achieved. Now, an insider speaks about how the transition is being implemented.
