Aalto University Digital Design Laboratory

ADD brings together science, technology, art and economics. ADD explores the potential of digital design and manufacturing technologies to create commercially-viable, culturally-relevant and societally-valuable results.

Aalto University Digital Design Laboratory is a research organisation launched by the Aalto University School of Engineering and the School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2012.

The ambition of ADD is to create a university-level innovation platform in the domain, enabling researchers and students from all parts of the university to get direct exposure to the new technologies in its scope and to utilise them in their own work.
